Krista was the perfect doula we could ask for. We had to go for an induction at short notice, and despite the urgency, Krista helped us prepare our birth plan within a couple of hours. She empowered us with knowledge about our rights at the hospital and ensured we could stay true to our birth plan, which was crucial as some of the doctors on our team tended to push their own agendas. Our induction lasted four days, and Krista stayed with us throughout, providing constant reassurance at every step. As an added bonus, she also clicked wonderful pictures throughout the process, capturing precious moments we will cherish forever. Krista's dedication, knowledge, and supportive nature made all the difference during our childbirth experience. We couldn't have asked for a better doula.

Just wanted to give a special shout out to Connected Mumma Doula for being such a wonderful support yesterday! Not only did she help provide me with some childcare and human development knowledge on how to help Sean during these difficult weeks of infanthood, but she also cleaned a lot of our house and made it look so organized (Charley our dog approves too). We even got a chance to bond over Disney! You can never have too much support in postpartum and I feel like that period of time is so neglected in a mother’s life. Definitely worth the monetary investment when it comes to a mother’s mental health. Highly recommend getting a doula if you are postpartum, even if it’s just a few sessions for that extra help and education you need to feel more confident in your parenting style. Krista was such a wonderful asset to our family yesterday and we will be using her help again in the near future!

Krista helped me throughout my pregnancy by providing my husband and I with so much knowledge about physiological birth, the birthing process, and what to expect during labor. She checked in on me frequently and was so encouraging! Krista gave me so much emotional support during my pregnancy and answered all of my questions very quickly. We also loved that she helped us create an amazing birth plan! She really empowered me to be an advocate for myself and I knew she would have my back no matter what outcome we had during birth. Krista helped me throughout my birth by coaching my partner and I through my first unmedicated birth. She was very reassuring during labor, met us at the birth center so quickly, and helped my husband support me through the entire birthing process! Krista had lots of comfort measures ready for me and was so calm and collected. She provided so much emotional support throughout my birth and was incredibly encouraging! Krista helped me during postpartum by Checking in on me all the time when I had to be rehospitalized. She also came over for a postpartum visit and helped walk me through my birth and let me talk it all out. Krista was also incredible and cleaned our house and folded laundry!! Krista helped my partner by giving him the tools he needed to support me during birth and postpartum. She made sure that he was comfortable and knew how to advocate for me as well! She also took the most stunning birth and golden hour photos! Krista truly made our pregnancy and birth process amazing and we don’t know what we would have done without her!

Krista was a game changer for our second child’s birth! She is super knowledgeable about the stages of pregnancy and helped plan and address our birth plan, goals, concerns, and our family’s needs as we got closer to the due date. She also checked in on and encouraged my wife throughout her pregnancy and addressed any concerns as needed. During labor she came very prepared, was an amazing support person, and actively encouraged us as labor progressed. She took photos throughout the night and morning which will allow us to relive and share the experience as well. Additionally she checked in after the birth and came to us for a postpartum visit. It was so helpful to have someone to talk to and to talk about our experience with someone with a strong understanding of the birth process and newborn period. Krista also helped a ton with cleaning and tidying up around our house! Through our time with Krista she provided reassurance and leveraged her experience as a mother to help with my wife’s concerns. She was also an amazing advocate for us and our ideal birth plan. We would not have had the positive experience we did without Krista’s guidance and support!

I cannot sing Krista‘s praises enough! She was everything I could have asked for and more in a support person during pregnancy and labor. We found Krista later in pregnancy and were amazed at how organized, on the ball, absolutely wonderful she was. From our first virtual meeting, I knew that I felt completely comfortable around her, and she would help make my birth experience a positive one. Krista offers photography during labor. This is something I never would’ve thought to ask for or want as part of doula services. But she was able to capture precious moments, including the first time I held my child, and I will treasure those photographs forever. Krista really is the total package when it comes to someone helping you through this wonderful journey

We cannot recommend Krista enough. Our pregnancy journey would have looked totally different if it wasn't for her. Being a first time parent is scary enough but having someone in your corner to advocate for what's best for you is a game-changer. My husband & I can not thank Connected Mumma Doula enough for not only supporting me throughout my whole entire pregnancy, but also showing up & keeping me grounded during the birth of my beautiful baby girl💗. Krista has been here for me through and through from the start. She is highly educated in early childhood development along with being a certified doula. I could ask her anything, & without judgment she confidently gave me answers, along with support and actual resources. She made sure I was fully educated on what I was making a decision on and never steered me in the way I felt that she favored. I manifested an unmedicated birth experience since before ever becoming pregnant. This had to change when we discovered my daughter was still in the breech position at 36 weeks. Krista kept me calm and continued to encourage me to make the decision I felt most comfortable with, not the doctors or anyone else. My daughter didn't flip after trying everything I possibly could. I felt discouraged at times but she reminded me that my birth can still be just as beautiful no matter what i choose. I went over all of my options & decided it was best to bring her into this world through a gentle belly birth. Krista helped me feel empowered in my decision. My baby girl came roaring into this world @ 9:53 am on 12/21/22 (on my 27th birthday). Krista was there to hold my hand, keep my husband grounded ,& take lots of pictures we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Every team member in the OR had a printed copy of my birthplan thanks to Krista. They all made it so special for us & even sang us both Happy Birthday. It definitely wasn't the way I had "planned" birth, but it couldn't have been more beautiful & perfect.💗
