Postpartum Planning
Postpartum Planning is the opportunity to plan your immediate postpartum period for your family. The session will typically run about 2 hours and will include the following:
The basics of your birth plan
Family Leave
Who's your support team?
Visitors (who, when and how)
Navigating sleep deprivation
Mental health support/team
Additional resources for doulas, agencies, lactation support, and support groups will be shared as needed after the session as well as a follow up email with details from our session.
Birth Doula Support
This package is for birth support. This includes but isn't limited to the follow:
Three (3) informational prenatal sessions ( childbirth education, comfort measures, and postpartum support)
In-person or virtual support during labor
My being on-call starting at 36 weeks
Physical, emotional and mental support for the birthing person and their support person(s)
One in person follow up about a week or so after birth to process the birth and talk about the birthing person's healing so far
Please note: This does not include any medical services or postpartum support
Birth Doula Support + 12 Postpartum Hours
This package is for birth support for the family with a 12 hours of postpartum support. This includes but isn't limited to the follow:
Three (3) informational prenatal sessions ( childbirth education, comfort measures, and postpartum)
In-person or virtual support during labor
My being on-call starting at 36 weeks
Physical, emotional and mental support for the birthing person and their support person(s) during labor
12 hours of postpartum which can be used in the form of day (4 h min) or overnight (8hr min) hours
Physical, emotional and mental support for the birthing person, baby, and support persons
Light cleaning in common spaces and minor chores to assist in home maintenance
Assessing parent(s) for PMADs regularly
Referral to additional providers as needed and when necessary
