About me

I believe that birth is YOUR story and should be done your way. I try my best to support my clients wishes during births and follow directions for post Partum care as well. I think it’s important not to push clients to do things but allow them to choose their own paths. I love what I do and I love educating my clients so that they’re able to make the best decisions for themselves and feel well informed when doing so…

Kourtney was great! She was our night doula for several weeks after our daughter was born. She was flexible with her schedule, which was extra important since we started two weeks after our expected due date. Kourtney arrived right on time each night and kept track of everything (feeds/diapers/sleep) happening throughout the night so I could pick up where she left off in the morning. Even when our daughter was gassy, fussy, and/or crying overnight, we hardly even noticed because Kourtney took such good care of her and soothed her back to sleep when she was upset.

We have worked with Kourtney as a night nanny for our 1 month old. She is a pleasure. She is prompt, polite, communicative and helpful. Highly recommend hiring her!

I was so nervous about giving birth. I had every confidence in my team at the hospital but I still knew it would be a great comfort to me to have someone there who knew the ropes. Kourtney was the perfect choice. I had a difficult labor and I was so much calmer because she was there, talking me through everything and making sure I understood what was going on. She's as hands-on as you want - she was at my side during the many hours of pushing that I did. She's also full of great info about breastfeeding and diet. I could go on and on about her.
