I have been a nurse for 16 years, an IBCLC for over 7 years. I have three children, 10,10,9. (Twins). After becoming a mother myself and truly experiencing the hardships, I knew my mission was to be there for these moms during the toughest phase of life. And my goal isn’t to make sure they breastfeed. While I do want them to meet their goals, I will never pressure a mom to only breastfeed. Everyone’s journey is different, and my job is to educate and support these families, however that may look. I want to be a resource for them to grow and thrive as a parent. I look forward to hopefully meeting new moms through this service:)

I offer in home visits, office visits, and virtual visits. I will do a newborn assessment, weighted feeding (in person) and offer mom a short term and long term plan at the end of the appointment. I also offer back to work appointments to create a back to work plan. I offer prenatal breastfeeding classes, in person or virtual. Each class is tailored to your specific needs. These are private classes or can be done in a group. Weaning sessions are also available.
I have a 1 year old and a 6 week old. I used Kendal Vaughn Lactation for both babies and cannot recommend her enough! The process to get it approved through insurance is SO easy. She has been so supportive and helpful with both babies. I struggle breastfeeding and she is supportive no matter what decisions I make regarding feeding. We are currently still working through the youngest baby being tongue tied and she has been so helpful with that as well. She is very knowledgeable about what she does and that definitely shows in her work. All moms need Kendal to help them navigate through this stage of mom hood!!!
