Hi there! My name is Keauna and I'm a mother/baby RN, lactation consultant, and postpartum doula located in Harford County Maryland. I have over 30 years of experience caring for babies and mothers. I specialize in caring for multiples and preterm babies. I'm a mother of twins that were born prematurely. When I'm not caring for families, I spend time traveling, working out, and relaxing at the spa.

With my background as a registered nurse and lactation consultant, I offer evidence-based, tailored support to meet your unique needs. Whether you need assistance with breastfeeding, newborn care, or simply a helping hand during the postpartum period, I’m here to ensure that you feel empowered and informed. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for you and your baby, helping you navigate the challenges of new parenthood with ease and confidence. Postpartum Doula Package A

Includes: No obligation phone consultation Unlimited email/text support during contracted hours. 24 customized hours based on your families needs. When needed, in-person support can be replaced with virtual or telephonic support. Option to extend contract at any time. Breastfeeding support and education Information/referrals for parents as needed. Car seat safety education. Physical and emotional support for mother/family. Postpartum care plan help Light house work, if requested. Light meal prep for mother and family, if requested. Care for infant(s) while mother/parents nap, shower, etc. Wash & fold baby laundry, if needed. Run small errands for mother. Accompany mother to physician appointments to help with infant or siblings(useful for pediatric appointments with multiples). Infant care education. NICU support, if needed. C-section recovery support. Weight checks, if requested.

Includes: Full history and assessment of mom & baby. Weight checks, when requested. Flange fitting. A care plan to help with reaching lactation and feeding goals. Follow-up text and/or phone calls for up to 2 weeks.

Yes, we offer all services virtually, by phone & email. We provide this option to allow all families to have access to professional and experienced education and support. This is beneficial to those families that live outside of our service areas.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, we offer gift certificates! Gifting a mother and her family with prepaid doula services makes a great baby shower!

What questions to ask before hiring a postpartum doula?

I encourage you to ask the prospective doula about their training, certification status and how they envision supporting you. You should ask why they chose to get into doula work. Are they 100% attuned to helping fulfill your dreams and desires and breathe confidence into you? Will your doula support you if you choose not to breastfeed? What does your doula think about how you want to parent? Do they push their philosophy of standard newborn procedures or help encourage you to find your own priorities? How do you feel when you are with the doula? Do they make you feel confident in your abilities? Do you want to keep talking with the doula? Do you peaceful in their presence?
