About me

Hi, I’m Kayla Wamsley, a birth doula committed to helping women feel empowered, supported, and in control of their birth experiences. As a mom myself, I understand the deep emotions, excitement, and sometimes uncertainty that can come with pregnancy and birth. My own journey into motherhood ignited my passion for birth work and showed me just how important it is to feel heard, respected, and fully supported during this transformative time. I believe that every woman deserves to feel confident and at peace as she welcomes her baby into the world, no matter the setting. Whether you're planning a natural hospital birth, are unsure of your options, or simply want someone by your side advocating for your wishes, I’m here to walk with you every step of the way. My goal is to provide compassionate, personalized care that meets you where you are, ensuring that you feel empowered and well-informed throughout your pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey. I’d love to be part of your birth story and help create the positive, supported experience you deserve.

Packages
Bronze package
1 free consultation meeting to see if I am a good fit for your needs. This meeting has absolutely no obligation to book attached. 1-2 Prenatal meetings where we will spend at least an hour going over your fears, birth wishes, and techniques to help you meet these goals. Continuous in-person Support During Labor and Delivery where I will be implementing strategies to help cultivate the birth experience you want based on our meetings. I will also be there to assist your partner in using effective comfort measures. Part of the support provided includes helping you and your partner adjust to unexpected changes to your plan. In-person support 1 hour after birth to ensure you and baby adjust well. I can also help with the initiation of breastfeeding. 1 Postpartum appointment to allow you to talk about the birth experience and to answer any questions you may have. I am happy to assist with simple tasks as well. These could be watching the baby while you shower or helping wash some dishes. This visit is really tailored to your needs. On-call 24/7 starting at 37 weeks to ensure I am ready to be there for you in labor. I know that a due date is just an estimated date of the baby's arrival, so I want to make sure I am ready whenever your baby decides to make an appearance. Access to me through text for questions or concerns. I know pregnancy and birth and even postpartum come with many questions so I will be available through text to help navigate these questions. I want to help make this experience not feel so lonely. This support will continue into your postpartum journey as well.
