Katherine took care of my sweet baby boy Pete from the first night he was discharged from the CVICU after open heart surgery when he was 2 weeks old until he was 6months old. I had always planned to use a night nurse for the first 8-12 weeks because my husband has a stressful demanding job and is a light sleeper. I knew that we wanted help in getting Pete onto a schedule and to help with sleep training. But after his surgery, I just didn't feel comfortable having "just" a nanny watch him. I was so excited and relieved when I found Katherine. Since she is highly trained as a baby nurse with not only CPR but several other certifications, I felt so comfortable from night one that Pete was in great hands. Originally she was only scheduled 2 nights a week with us as we rotated 3 nannies throughout the week, but very quickly I requested she become our primary nanny and she then worked 4-5 nights a week, which was a dream! Katherine is so knowledgeable and caring - she made me feel so at peace with having a baby with medical needs and being able to care for him on my own during the day. I often would write down random baby questions throughout the day and then as soon as she arrived and Pete was asleep, I'd sit down and pepper her with all my concerns and questions. She was magical in holding my hand when needed, encouraging me that I was enough as a mom always, and always took the time to answer and thoroughly explain any questions on any subject I brought up. She was super flexible as well. She came inearly for date nights, stayed late when I had appointments, and I even took her with us on vacation several times in those first 6months. Having her as a second pair of hands was invaluable! I highly recommend Katherine as an infant nanny, especially if you have a newborn! You will not regret it!

Katherine was an amazing help to us when our baby came home after open heart surgery. Katherine was able to help me talk through a lot of my worries and fears. I trusted her implicity and was able to actually get a good night's sleep each night she was here. She traveled with us to the beach several times and helped us through the 4month and 6month sleep regressions. My little guy is an amazing sleeper now and I can't thank Katherine enough!
