I’m looking to give birth in a birthing center but I’m open to doing it at home. not over $6,000 I’m looking to give both naturally. I’d like to use natural positioning and methods to make this a special experience

I'm not confirmed pregnant yet, but hoping to be pregnant soon. This will be my 2nd pregnancy. My first ended in emergency c-section due to my baby's low heart rate and the umbilical being wrapped twice around his neck. A vaginal, unmedicated birth was my goal. I'm looking for a provider that is supportive of low-intervention VBACs with a low c-section rate. I'm leaning toward a hospital birth, just for the security if something goes wrong again and a c-section is the only option to save my baby's life again. I'd also be curious to get an estimated out-of-pocket cost and to learn what services my insurance would cover.

My first baby had a cascade of interventions that led to not progressing fast enough and a cesarean. My second baby was a VBAC with an epidural but I was actively pushing for 10 hours. The hospital setting has been traumatic for me, as I was constantly denied my requests for delayed cord clamping, immediate breastfeeding, and minimal interventions. I'd like to give home birth a try.

I would like to have a home birth preferably a water birth. As of right now I don't have a set budget but I'm hoping my insurance will help out. I want all natural, calm environment as my oldest will most likely will be in the home during labor. I want to be able to move around with help with positions and keeping calm. End goal is to have a happy healthy mom and baby without going to the hospital.
