Hi! I’m a birth doula serving the greater Fredericksburg (NOVA) area. I am certified through A Woman Who Serves Doula Training (AWWS) and I am honored to be a part of the community of support for women and their journey into motherhood! I believe that birth is sacred and work to affirm that as I serve you and your growing family.

As a birth doula, I work to support both you and your partner emotionally, spiritually, and physically as you bring your baby into the world. That means educating you about the labor and birth process and common procedures in hospital and out. It means answering any questions you may have and discussing any fears you may have. It means holding your hand and walking you through a contraction every step of the way. It means supporting your partner by guiding them in how to best support you and being an extra set of hands for them. It means loving, serving, and respecting you as you bring the gift of new life into the world. I’m a naturally-minded birth doula, meaning I truly do believe that your body was made to birth your baby. I do not view birth as an inherently medical emergency, and will encourage you to birth without extensive intervention in the labor process. I am going to educate you of the risks and benefits of any procedure or decision presented to you surrounding birth. Above all, I support women who believe in their bodies to birth their babies, whether that be at home, at a birth center, or in the hospital with an epidural. It is an honor to serve you.
