Pregnancy Doula Support
Pregnancy Support can be curated according to your unique needs. It usually involves meetings over a cup of tea, chatting about your options, your worries or fears and what you can expect. This could involve:
- Discussing and creating your birth plan.
- Discussing and creating your postpartum plan.
- Determining the best options for partner involvement and support for birth and postpartum.
- Providing you with information and resources related to pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
- Equipping you with referrals to build your support network to prepare further for pregnancy, birth or postpartum.
- Sorting & organizing baby clothes and supplies and getting a sense of what you really need versus what you really don’t.
- Preparing freezer meals to ease the burden of cooking in the first days and weeks postpartum.
- Private meditation and prenatal yoga sessions.

Pregnancy & Birth Doula Support
Pregnancy & Birth Support means that no matter where or how you choose to have your baby, I will be there. I can support you at home, in a birth centre or in a hospital. I am a part of your maternal care team and I work alongside your midwife and/or OB-GYN, and anyone else you’d like in the birthing space to give you an empowered and positive experience.
What’s included:
- Complementary consultation.
- Complementary birth plan booklet.
- 2 in-person prenatal visits to discuss your birth plan and how I can best support you.
- 24/7 on call availability beginning 10 days before your due date.
- Continuous labour and birth support.
- 1 in-home postpartum visit.
- Discount for Prepared Feeding an online breastfeeding course with IBCLC, Amanda Devereaux from BEST Doula.
- Phone, email and text message support during regular business hours from time of hire.
Postpartum Doula Support
We can work together to curate a postpartum package that meets your unique needs, but this would typically include a combination of the following:
- Preparing simple, freshly cooked, warm, nutritious and delicious food for you and your family.
- Showing you basic infant care.
- Providing information and support on breastfeeding.
- Listening to any questions and/or concerns regarding you and/or your baby, and providing you trusteed referrals.
- Helping you process your birth story.
- Supporting older children with this new experience.
- Providing you time for self-care, such as holding your baby whilst you shower.
- Performing light household tasks, such as baby’s laundry
A postpartum doula can be particularly helpful if you had a cesarean birth, any birth complications, when there are siblings around, your partner works long hours/travels for work or you are new in town and don’t have a support network yet.
Virtual Pregnancy & Birth Doula Support
Virtual Pregnancy & Birth Support means providing you support similar to the in-person services, but it’s conducted entirely remotely instead.
What’s included:
- Complementary consultation.
- Complementary birth plan booklet.
- 2 online prenatal visits to discuss your birth plan and how I can best support you.
- 24/7 support during labour - I will be available to you (and your partner) via phone throughout your labor, to offer guidance and suggestions, help you understand procedures, and answer questions about how to proceed or what’s happening. I’ll be the calm voice on the screen or on the phone, grounding you and keeping you encouraged and informed.
- 1 online postpartum visit - To review your birth, answer your questions and give tips regarding feeding, newborn behaviour and care.

- Phone, email and text message support during regular business hours from time of hire.
