About me

Hi, I’m Kailyn! As a mom of five, I've learned firsthand how much preparation (or lack there-of) and mindset for birth and beyond can color our future relationship with our babies and ourselves. After my own home and hospital births, live births and loss, I decided to pursue professional trainings as a birth, loss, and postpartum doula. I'm honored to share with you many ways I've learned to be prepared and help maintain (or re-gain) a positive outlook and self-concept through all the ups and downs of motherhood.

Kailyn was my assistant midwife for my most recent home birth. She was amazing! She has excellent bedside manner. She was thorough, and made sure to check on my mental health during and after pregnancy. She is very respectful of her client’s wishes, while still giving her professional opinion. She worked well with my midwife to give me quality care throughout the whole process.

I am very grateful to Kailyn and am so glad that she is a part of my birth story. Having a doula was such a great investment into having a positive birth experience.
