juju james, the creative and driving force behind Good JuJu Birth + Wellness Company, leads a comprehensive doula agency specializing in holistic birth, newborn care, and community childbirth readiness classes. based in savannah, georgia, her services extend to surrounding counties and virtual platforms. she is a black fem, geechee, homeschooling single mother, and proud Savannah native, bringing a wealth of expertise as a certified Full Spectrum Doula and Perinatal Health Educator, providing inclusive, culturally centered care. inspired by her grandmother's stories of training as a labor nurse at savannah's historic charity hospital, julia found her calling in birthwork and patient advocacy, gaining her experience as a community-based doula for non-profit organizations and hospitals across chicago, il. outside of her professional pursuits, julia spends time preparing meals with love, a western astrologer, and an intuitive. she finds joy in spending time with her son, Mason, and her dog, peach. currently residing in the cuyler-brownville historic district, julia remains deeply committed to her work and community.
