About me

Welcome to my journey! Growing up on a farm in Wheatland County, Alberta, Canada, taught me the value of hard work and perseverance early on. My dream of becoming a birth worker may have seemed distant at times, but it became a reality when I discovered the impactful role of a doula. I signed up for the Birth Belongs to Women mentorship, learning through women is truely so important to me. Being present for the miraculous moment of birth is beyond words, and I take great pride in supporting women during such vulnerable times. I firmly believe that every woman deserves to be honoured and cared for, and I am dedicated to providing gentleness, kindness, and reassurance throughout the process. Birth is not just about the arrival of a new baby; it is equally about honouring the mother and her unique experience. ​ When I’m not attending births, I’m busy caring for my animals, including my goats and Texas Longhorn/Highland cattle. I cherish my time with my dogs, Mena and Major, and my calf, Violet. I also enjoy unwinding by the fire, painting, capturing beautiful moments through photography, or playing the piano. ​ My mission is to serve women as a sister and nurture them as a true friend in their incredible journey. I am serving Strathmore and the greater Calgary area

My Offerings: I am thrilled to be here with you as we embark on this exciting beginning together! My commitment is to stand beside you throughout this journey, ensuring that you feel supported and empowered. All of my offerings are fully customizable, designed specifically to cater to your unique needs and preferences. Together, let’s create something truly special that reflects your individuality! Prenatal Care -Four Prenatal appointments for connection, understanding, and support -Unlimited calls or texting -Access to resources and reassurance throughout pregnancy Birth Doula -I will support you with personalized care during labour -Presence until 2-4 hours post-birth. To help settle you and baby -I will assist in cleaning up and helping in small tasks after birth -Support with breastfeeding establishment and guidance on pain management ~ OPTIONAL Birth Photography, If I can step away to capture these precious moments Postpartum Doula -Three in-person visits around weeks 1,4, and 8. Of course this can be altered to fit your needs. -Daily text and call in the first week and continued support as needed -I will bring a nutritious snack at every visit -Breastfeeding resources, nutritional education and guidance along with newborn support Doula Nanny -I offer this specialized service in caring for your other children while you birth. With my knowledge in birth I help your children navigate this new beginning, while keeping them occupied and fed
