I passionately serve our Greater Rochester, NY area as your community Birth Doula! I bring a calm confidence to birthing people, partners and their families during their pregnancy, labor and birth journeys. I love supporting my community through creating living birth plans with my clients, providing evidence-based coping skills and empowering birthing people with knowledge, resources and compassionate care! When I'm not attending a birth you will find me enjoying the Rochester Public Market, local coffee shops around town as well as hiking with my husband and our Dalmatian. Supporting you during pregnancy and throughout your fourth trimester is my life's work, and it is beautiful!!

As a dedicated postpartum doula and night nanny, I provide gentle, nurturing support to help parents rest, recover, and confidently care for their newborn. Whether you need overnight assistance so you can get the sleep you deserve or daytime guidance on newborn care, feeding, and postpartum recovery, I’m here to help. My goal is to make your transition into parenthood smoother, more restful, and full of joy. Let’s create a care plan that fits your family’s needs—because you don’t have to do it alone!

Joanna was the most supportive, insightful, and resourceful doula I could have asked for. In addition to being experienced in the birthing and medical field, she cares deeply about the client and their family, ensuring that their birth plan reflects all their wants and needs. When things couldn't go according to plan, having Joanna's wisdom and compassion was invaluable - my husband and I literally don't know what we would have done without her in many high pressure moments.
