Service introduction

Birth Doula Support: I meet with my Mom's anywhere from 3-4 times before birth. This is to establish great rapport and a close relationship between us. Understanding who you are as a person is just as important to me as reviewing your birth wishes. The two of those go hand in hand with each other. Birth is an intimate process and I want you to be comfortable with everyone who is there that day, including myself. In our meetings, we will cover all things birth and postpartum! Dive deep into any or all education topics, and utilize that knowledge to face any fears that you may have about labor and birth. We will review coping measures for birth and then create your birth plan. We talk postpartum supplies and what the first two weeks will look like. Postpartum Support: I will be there to support Mom and her family at home. With any from, light housework, cooking meals, and preparing snacks, helping you with breastfeeding support, baby-wearing support, newborn care, or overnight shifts to allow parents to get some well-needed rest! Whatever you have in mind I will be there to support you!

I hired Jessica as my birth doula for my third baby. I did not have a doula for my first two births, but this time I wanted another person on my side to advocate for me and help with pain management. Jessica did amazing job at making sure I was informed about all my options and gave me confidence to stand my ground when pressured from hospital staff. Jessica provided me with stretches/exercises to help facilitate labor, gave massages and applied counter-pressure during contractions, and gave me encouragement when I needed it. This was by far my best birth experience and I am so thankful to Jessica for making that happen!

Jessica was the best decision I made for my birth experience. I feel confident that with her by my side everything in our power was done to try to get me my dream birth. From the very beginning she gave me helpful advice and suggestions for anything related to the pregnancy process. She help my partner feel comfortable going into the laboring process and helped him to fully understand everything we would go though postpartum. We both could not be happier with our experience with her. She is one of a kind and we will forever be grateful.

There are no words to describe how impactful Jessica was as our birth doula and postpartum doula. She provided our family the calming energy we needed at week 6 of our first pregnancy all the way through to our first born's first few weeks of life. Jessica provided us with her wealth of knowledge throughout pregnancy which gave us the confidence to try an unmedicated birth, even after I was adamant I was not strong enough to handle it. Jessica never once pressured us into her birth ideals, gave us the flexibility and room to make our own decisions, and reassured us she supported us in whichever way we decided. My birth ended up as a medically-necessary C-section with complications. Jessica was by my side the day of the C-section and the days after while I was recovering in the hospital. When my son came home, Jessica was there to help us through those sleepless nights. Knowing we had her on our side provided our family the comfort we needed through one of the most challenging times as a new family. A million thank-yous wouldn't be enough to show my gratitude to Jessica. I would recommend her a million times over!

You want Jessica on your birth team - she is a superstar doula! Our family hired Jessica to be our doula for our first baby who was born on 4/18/24. Our entire relationship with her has been positive and helpful. She’s been there to answer questions prenatal and postpartum, whenever we needed support. She was a crucial part in helping our birth be seamless and positive. She encouraged me to progress labor in a gentle way, tailored for me and what I needed. She wasn’t just an asset to me but was there for my husband during the labor as well. During labor, she came to my house in the wee hours of the morning, gave me spoonfuls of honey, told me to adjust my body to move the baby further through the pelvis, took photos, witnessed my birth, took my sass, guided me through tough moments with affirmations, and went to go get us food when we were done with the delivery. I truly can’t sing her praises enough as my doula. Jessica, you’re a blessing and a gift to all the families you serve. You were made to be in this role!

Jessica was absolutely phenomenal. I had been on the fence about hiring a doula. By the time I decided i was already around 30 weeks. Jessica was happy to take me on late in the pregnancy. At the time I had been planning a hospital birth, although I had many concerns with this birth plan. Jessica answered all of my questions and ultimately gave me the confidence to switch to a birth center. I thoroughly attribute the success of my birth to her presence. She helped educated me during the last weeks of pregnancy and kept me calm during labor. 10/10 recommend!
