Hi! I am honored to help you navigate through your individual and unique journey. All parents deserve to have the information needed to make an informed decision and the respect to decide what works best for their family. I've worked with thousands of diverse families to help them achieve their personal feeding goals. My experience started in 1997 as a Mother-Baby nurse where I began working with families who were also learning to feed their babies. I knew I wanted to become a lactation consultant after repeatedly watching parents in tears and feeling defeated as they struggled with feeding their infants regardless of their age, education level, or race. I pursued that education and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2005. I breastfed my four children, but not without my own hiccups! Even though I had some experience and knowledge, each baby was doing it for the first time, and we had to learn how to do it together!
