Birth Plan
You may be wondering if a birth plan is necessary. Maybe a friend told you that she didn't need one or perhaps you just don't know where to start so you are thinking you will just not worry about it. I get it - you don't know what you don't know, but I DO know! I am a birth experts and in my experience I have personally witnessed how important a clear, concise plan is. It serves as a valuable communication tool between you and your partner and you and your birth team.
It would be my pleasure to help your family create an effective birth plan that details your desires for the birth experience you want and deserve. Whether you are having a hospital birth, or home or birth center birth, I highly encourage you to create a birth plan.
Consultations last 1-2 hours with a follow up phone call or facetime meeting as needed to put the finishing touches on your birth plan.
I strongly recommend taking a Birth Classes prior to our planning session. I can refer you to a local educator or I have an online virtual option that is available to you so just let me know which option you prefer.
Postpartum Plan
Everyone gets excited putting together their birth plan, and often not much thought, if any, is given to the idea of a postpartum plan. However, it can be just as valuable to ease you into your new role of parenthood.
I will help you assess your current resources and assist with determining where you may need some extra support after the baby arrives.
Together, we can make a plan for the help you need and deserve to have a smoother 4th Trimester.
