As a first time, mom, Janet and Barb were both extremely helpful to my husband and I. They are experts in all things postpartum and babies. They assisted us with meal prepping laundry, light cleaning, and I felt comfortable to be able to hand my newborn over so I could get some much-needed rest and shower. My husband and I were able to take a walk together in the early days, which was so special to reflect on the new baby and the birth. They are amazing women and have great connections and resources; even helping me find childcare when I went back to work. I will always be grateful for Janet and Barb helping me and those early vulnerable days when needed most.

I had a great experience with Janet & Beyond the Bump. The initial meeting a few months prior to my giving birth, she met with me to set expectations & lay how to best work with them postpartum. When I finally gave birth, two weeks before my due date, they were flexible to assist right away. A day after coming home, she came & immediately got to work making meals & picking up around the house. I felt such ease knowing the house was going to be tidy, because giving birth two weeks early, I was definitely not as prepared as I wanted to be. Janet made me feel comfortable, giving advice when needed but really just taking initiative on overall care. To this day, I recommend postpartum doulas to all my expecting friends.
