We’ll begin with a free consultation to see if we’re a match, and then we will move onto our first prenatal appointment where we will discuss all things pregnancy and birth related as it pertains to you. At our second prenatal appointment, we will discuss labor and delivery preferences, comfort measures during birth and create a customized birth plan. I will be on call from 37 weeks up until you deliver with 24/7 support during labor and delivery- up to two hours post birth where I will help you with breast or bottle feeding. I will follow up 1-2 weeks postpartum with an in person visit to check on you and assist in any help or adjustments you may need as you begin your journey into parenthood.
Having Jamie by my side as my doula during two births was the best decision I made during pregnancy. She was was so helpful, sweet and compassionate. She helped me through labor at my most vulnerable time and also guided my husband through and helped him help me. She brought a sense of calm into the room and I truly don’t think I could’ve had the positive birth I had if it weren’t for her!

Jamie’s advice and extensive knowledge when it comes to everything pregnancy and birth related is invaluable. She helped me work through my fears and trust my body to have the birth experience that I really desired to have. Her support during labor is what helped me get through it. Back rubs, hip squeezes, positions to help labor progress, walks around the hall. I could not have done it without her! I am so grateful I had her as my doula.
