About me

I have been officiating Weddings, Handfastings, Same Sex Marriages, Vow Renewals, Baptisms, Baby Naming's, Baby Blessings, and Wiccanings since January 2001.

My goal is to make all families of all types happy.

I am located in Pueblo West, CO. I have officiated several weddings in NH and have done several Same Sex Marriages before they were legal and when they were allowed to be legally married, I signed their official marriage license.

I have also done weddings where they were only done for the ceremony and then years later they decided to make it a legal one and signed those marriage licenses too. Now I am serving the families in my area as a postpartum doula. I received my doula training as a Digital Postpartum where I specialize in postpartum care. My goal as your Doula is to make sure that I provide after care support for you and your family when your child/children are born.

Service introduction

Unmatched care and attention, bespoke service. 'Handfastings,' 'Baptisms,' 'Baby Blessings,' and other ceremonial occasions have kept me busy since January of 2001 and I look forward to officiating many more events in the year to come. Alongside these rituals, as of 2022, I've also introduced a virtual postpartum care service as well as an additional Mothering Ceremony. Creating an avenue for expression is my objective, allowing everyone to feel satisfied and welcomed. I primarily work out of Pueblo and offer my services across Colorado. Prior to living in Colorado, I lived in New Hampshire where I've had the pleasure of doing several ceremonies.

A Mother’s Blessing Ceremony - without supplies
A Mother’s Blessing Ceremony is an intimate ceremony and celebration where the mother-to-be gathers with her closest circle of women (family and friends) to honour and celebrate her rite of passage which is becoming a mother. The intention of a Mother Blessing is to support and prepare the expectant mother for her upcoming birth and role as a mother, physically, mentally and emotionally. It is inspired by the traditions of an ancient Navajo ceremony called a Blessing Way. Traditional baby showers tend to centre around showering the baby with gifts. A Mother Blessing ceremony offers the opportunity to come together in a spiritual setting and share in a sacred time of reflection, support and celebration that is focused on the mother-to-be. It’s all about nurturing and empowering the mother-to-be in a safe environment surrounded by the most important women in her life, a very powerful and healing experience for each of the participants. As mothers, our instinct is to prioritize our families, often leaving us feeling a tinge of guilt when considering self-care. Yet, here's an undeniable truth: You can’t provide the best to others unless you first allow yourself to be cared for. This ceremony extends an invitation to a profound shift in your motherhood journey whether you are in it for the first time or fifth. It's not just beneficial; it's essential. This ceremony is a path to healing – not just for yourself but for each other and our beloved Mother Earth. Embrace the opportunity to nurture and replenish, because in doing so, you contribute to a healthier, more balanced world for us alI offer personalized ceremonies that will be tailored to embrace the uniqueness of the expected mother and honour the divine feminine. I facilitate a grounded, safe space for you to release any fears or doubts you may have and to receive support and blessings from your tribe. This intimate, sacred ritual is a beautiful way to honour your rite of passage into motherhood (whether it’s the first or third time). Every woman deserves to be held by her tribe during this time! It’s an experience that will leave you feeling empowered, and deeply supported. Step into a transformative experience crafted just for you! We’ll open the circle with a grounding meditation, the women in the circle will tell stories of motherhood, offer blessings for your birth, and hold space for you to clear any doubts, listening with presence and kindness. We will honour and empower you in creative and fun ways.

Doula Jackie is knowledgable about the birthing process and honored what my spouse and I wanted for the birth of our child when the time is to come. She helped us create a warm and inviting area of our home to calm us and guide us through the process of hypnobirthing and helped us with deciding on if there was to be any medical intervention, what to avoid, and what would be absolutely necessary and it was up to us to make the final decision...she doesn't give medical advice, she provided information on what could happen if the birth of our child didn't go as planned for whatever reason it wasn't meant to be a non-medical birth. We are still in the planning stages of IVF for the future, but it was so nice to talk to someone to help us get over the fears of what might or could happen and reminded us that I (the mom-to-be) had the power to say YES or NO to the medical team and to not be afraid to speak up for myself. I recently had a miscarriage and she wrote us a lovely ritual for our baby who wasn't ready to be on this side of the world. She incorporated both mine and my husband's faith. I am a child of the Goddess and he's Mormon. She had us both smiling with happy tears at the end of our ritual even though we had to say goodbye to this little one and we know that we will meet them someday on the other side when it's our time to cross over.
