I plan to give birth at Hoag Hospital Newport Beach. I have United Healthcare insurance and would like to have the lowest budget possible. I want an epidural due to not good with pain. I want a vaginal birth only. I would like my doula to be experienced at least 5 years. I would like my doula to help me with sleep training, lactation, nutrition, etc.

Planning an unmedicated hospital birth at Hoag Hospital Irvine for my first pregnancy. Already have my birth plan figured out and mainly looking for support and advocacy during labor for me and my partner and to learn any helpful information for first time motherhood. Also looking for support and knowledge in breastfeeding where I can improve! Looking for a doula that accepts Tricare Select. My wife and I are currently looking for a birth doula Our estimated due date is March 28, 2027, and we are planning to deliver at Hoag Hospital. We have Anthem Blue Cross insurance through LAUSD, and we are currently trying to confirm our doula benefits and which providers may be covered in-network. We also found that National Doula Network appears in-network under our Anthem plan. Could you please let us know whether you currently accept or bill Anthem Blue Cross, whether you work through National Doula Network or another insurance network, and whether your services for prenatal support, labor/birth support at Hoag, and postpartum care may be covered through insurance? Hi! I am a second time mom who will be delivering at HOAG hospital Newport. My first pregnancy was very chaotic because my son came 6 weeks early without any warning. I want to be much more prepared this time around and I am planning on choosing to go unmedicated as last time he came so unexpectedly I choose to get the epidural immediately without much time to think about it nor did I have a plan going into that birth.

Who the care is for: Our family. I will have a newborn daughter (due date around December 2026, possibly November if she arrives early) and I have an 8 year old son. I will be recovering postpartum and want to stay focused on bonding with the baby without getting pulled into household tasks. Days and hours needed: Daily, evening hours (roughly dinner time through bedtime), for about 2 to 4 weeks, starting after the baby arrives. Flexible on exact timing, happy to adjust as our routine settles. Extra duties: - Warming up dinner - Prepping my son's lunch for the next school day - Checking that his homework is done - Light cleaning: vacuuming kitchen/dining area, tidying common rooms - Taking out trash and recycling - Running a load of laundry as needed - Occasionally watching the baby while I shower - Help restocking postpartum/baby supplies, freezing pumped milk and washing pump parts, and grabbing nursing snacks/drinks I keep on hand My husband will be home during these hours too. We just want an extra set of hands so neither of us is stuck doing chores instead of resting or spending time with the kids. Budget: $35 to $40/hour, depending on experience.
