We are looking for a birth doula to support us as we prepare to welcome our first baby. We are traveling to the United States for the birth and are unfamiliar with the local birth processes, hospital procedures, and other related details. As this is our first baby, I feel uncertain about what to expect during labor and delivery, and I would greatly appreciate guidance on what to do during the birthing process. I hope for a natural delivery and would love support to achieve this goal. We are looking for a doula who can: 1-Help us navigate the hospital process and provide advice or guidance regarding the birth plan. 2-Support me physically and emotionally during labor and delivery. 3-Offer practical tips and suggestions to help us feel more confident about the process.

I am still undecided on home vs. hospital birth but leaning towards home birth. This is my first baby so I am not sure of budget range. My birth plan is bulleted below: -No induction/water breaking -No catheter -No Pitocin/cytotec -No epidural -Pain: Laboring in tub, hot or cold therapy, massage, movement, bouncing on ball. -Try different birthing positions; all 4s, tug o war, birthing stool, side, anything except laying on back. -No forceps, no vacuum, apply perineal massage. -Birthing of placenta, naturally.
