After teaching classroom music and violin lessons for over 13 years, I decided to become a HypnoBirthing Certified Educator when my 3rd HypnoBirthing baby was born. Shortly after, I decided to become a doula and never turned back! Now I spend my time homeschooling my girls, teaching HypnoBirthing and supporting new families, and I LOVE it!

Being a birth doula is only the beginning of what I do. I love to spend time before baby comes, getting to know you, what your personality is like, if you're going to like a calm atmosphere or an upbeat, fun dance party. We'll talk about what type of birth you dream of, practice positions that feel good and prepare you for your fourth trimester. Most importantly, this time is meant to prepare you and help you to feel like the leader in your birth experience in order to protect this sacred experience. HypnoBirthing classes are a passion of mine and I think everyone can benefit from them. My husband even uses the techniques he learned while he's working! This class is meant to bring about a feeling of autonomy and peace, conditioning the mind and body to both relax and advocate for the choices you make for your birth.
