About me

Hi, everyone! My name is Heidi, and I am so excited to be the Agency Director/Owner of Let Mommy Sleep of Idaho! I completed my schooling in Gresham, OR, and medical training in Portland at OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital. My father was an OB-GYN, and many of my extended family are also in medicine, so becoming a respiratory therapist just felt right on so many different levels. My love for children and their families grew, and I began to lean more toward advocacy, education, and preventive health. It is a passion that lights me up and bringing Let Mommy Sleep to Idaho is a true gift! I've spent time in many different areas of respiratory care here in Boise, but my favorite has been caring for children and their families. (I even spent some time in sleep medicine!) My family and I are active in our community and are part of a large fun, supportive, and engaging group of people. Let Mommy Sleep has been welcomed here with open arms because we offer something so special and unique for the growing families that need that extra support. Thank you for the opportunity to care for your family!

Let Mommy Sleep Overnight Care for Families
Let Mommy Sleep is the industry leader in Newborn Care and Idaho's most trusted overnight care company. We have been recognized by the White House Summit on Working Families, the US Chamber of Commerce, and as Washington FAMILY Magazine's Best Nanny Service of 2016 and 2017. We hold a government contract to teach newborn care and partner with Babies R Us and other local baby stores to instruct caregivers. But, most importantly, we adore our families. *About Let Mommy Sleep - LMS caregivers are 100% insured, vaccinated, and background checked. - Our caregivers are awake and alert while caring for your child. - We provide a complete record of baby's activity during the night using our app, LMSLive. - We help our babies get on an appropriate schedule if that is the parents' goal. *Overnight Care A Registered Nurse or Newborn Care provider is awake and alert to provide all baby care through the night, as well as evidence-based education to parents. *Care Time Care usually occurs between 9 pm and 7 am (10 hours) or 10 pm-6 am (8 hours), and we can be flexible depending on a family's needs. No minimum nights are needed to schedule service, and we understand that flexibility is the key when working with babies! *Do I need a Registered Nurse or an NCP? Our model of care is to have an RN for the first night(s) home with baby to continue the hospital level of care and education. We assess and assist with mothers' healing and recuperation, provide feeding support, parents' health and well-being, and, of course, care for baby through the night. An RN, LPN, or LVN might not always be needed, but the option is there. A newborn care provider (NCP) is a professional who is a certified nursing assistant, certified medical assistant, home health aide, or medical technician with newborn care experience. Our caregivers' medical licensures mean they are accountable to the Idaho State Board of Nursing. Rates for Single Baby: Registered Nurse (RN, LPN, LVN) = $34 per hour Newborn Care Provider (NCP) = $28 per hour Rates for Twins: Registered Nurse (RN, LPN, LVN) = $39 per hour Newborn Care Provider (NCP) = $32 per hour There are no deposits, no cancellation fees, and no administrative fees.
