Hello! My name is Hailey and I am a nurse, certified birth and postpartum doula, and childbirth educator! I am also a momma to two sweet girls. I’ve always been interested in the birth world, even from a young age! It might be the nurse part of me, or just my personality, but I want to help make it easier for moms to adjust during the transition into motherhood, whether it be in how they choose to give birth, or during those tough months (or years!) postpartum, by providing support catered to their individual needs and helping moms make informed choices about their care. I believe that education is so important for moms. I want to provide them with the tools to make informed choices for their care and are able to plan for the unknowns. I want to bring awareness to all the different options you have when giving birth. With the knowledge that up to 45% of women report experiencing birth trauma (March of Dimes), I hope to minimize that by providing evidence-based information, advocacy, and physical and emotional support throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

As a birth doula my goal is to make sure you feel confident going into your birth. We go over information about birth, what to expect, how you are feeling, coping strategies and much more. I offer continuous support during labor whenever you need me and at least 1 postpartum visit after you give birth. I also offer childbirth education classes, in both a group setting and private. These classes are highly evidence-based and are geared to give you all the information you need to not only cope in labor, but know how to make decisions, talk with your provider, and feel confident with your choices. Postpartum doula services are variable based on your needs. It can range from basic housekeeping support to emotional and physical support as your recover from birth.
