I need someone who can educate me on labor and support me through it. Also looking for techniques/breathing techniques to ease through labor. I will be giving birth in a hospital, as well as planning on getting an epidural. I want my birth to be as easy and smooth as possible, with a strong support system next to me. I only plan on having my husband and possibly a doula (if I find one) in the room. I have not taken any childbirth classes or practiced any breathing techniques. I want someone to be able to explain all the medical information they are going to tell me in the hospital, as I don’t know what would be safe and what wouldn’t. I don’t have a specific birth plan other than creating a calm environment and being talked through everything that is happening. This is my first child.

I plan on giving birth at Riley hospital for children. Around 1000. A vaginal birth and plan on using epidural and nitrous oxide. I do not want Pitocin or a membrane sweep. No clamps or forceps nor vacuum. I do not want him getting a hep shot. Delayed cord cutting until white and I don’t want them pulling or taking out my placenta until it comes naturally. No shots for baby unless medically needed. Would like to try different positions or shower.
