About me

I am Godis EyeAm a Birth Sister based in Louisiana - As your companion through this transformative journey together we'll activate the Mind. Body. Spirit. Alignment allowing for your most authentic birthing experience. I am your advocate for your sovereign right and capabilities to birthing your way. My belief and mission is Healed Birth! Cultivating in a Healed Earth. When we heal birth, we heal families; Healing Families, Heals Communities. With each and every birth I attend it is my goal to create a safe and sacred birthing environment. Prior to receiving my Doula training with Sista Midwife Productions under the tutelage of the beautiful Sista Nicole Deggins, I have served my community as a birth sister for 10+ years.

Blessings, I've had the honor of serving my community as a birth justice advocate and breastfeeding advocate for over 10 years. Not only supporting throughout pregnancy but offering Preconception and fourth trimester support. Now I have the honor of serving as a Perinatal community health worker and Full Spectrum doula. I'm currently completing a six month apprenticeship with the healthy birth ambassador initiative of Louisiana and Sista Midwife Productions to be completed in June. Upon completion I will be a certified lactation consultant as well as certified childbirth educator as well as childbirth educator. I will be receiving my certification as a Birth assistant from the Pacific Birth Institute after earning and securing a full scholarship. It is truly my honor to serve my community in a wholly fulfilling way.

This bundle includes:1 prenatal visit, labor and delivery support, Lactation support, 1 postpartum visit, 24 hr support starting at 37 weeks and up until 2 weeks postpartum. *$25 dollar discount paid in full $575* All packages are customizable whereas Sacred space and or meditation may be add for and additional discounted rate of $40-$60. An overnight visit can be added for an added fee of $125. Young moms (25-21) may enjoy an additional 20% off of the above listed bundles with teen moms (20<) receiving up to 50% discounted rate. Not applicable to paid in full rate.

This bundle includes: 2 prenatal visits, 1 physicians/Midwife led visit, labor and delivery support, Lactation support, 2 postpartum visits, 1 session of Sacred Space with yoni steam included, 24hr support starting at 37 weeks and up until 2 weeks postpartum on call support, 1 overnight visit. *$50 discount paid in full $800* All packages are customizable whereas Sacred space and or meditation may be add for and additional discounted rate of $40-$60. An overnight visit can be added for an added fee of $125. Young moms (25-21) may enjoy an additional 20% off of the above listed bundles with teen moms (20<) receiving up to 50% discounted rate. A Perinatal Community Health Worker (PCHW) is an individual who has been provided with training as a community health worker as well as training and certification in various perinatal disciplines. They provide service and support to their communities, to each other, and to families. And finally, they educate themselves on the problems and solutions and they help educate communities and civic leaders on ways to get involved.

Are doulas and midwives the same?

No. A doula is a person who provides emotional and physical support to you during your pregnancy and childbirth. Doulas are not medical professionals. They don't deliver babies or provide medical care, whereas midwives are trained professionals able to offer medical treatment.

What is a Healthy Birth Ambassador?

Healthy Birth Ambassadors (HBAs) are perinatal community health workers who live and work in the same community. HBAs desire to make birth better for families and their communities. They understand that how we give birth directly impacts how we parent and how we show up in life and society.
