Hello! My name is Georgette Brackett. I am a postpartum doula who is passionate about supporting mothers and families through their transition to life with a new baby. As a mother to two wonderful children, I have experienced firsthand how crucial it is to feel cared for and supported during this time. I seek to bring a calm, caring presence and reassuring encouragement to the families I am privileged to work with.

I advocate, provide resources, and refer to professionals to ensure that optimal health and care is accessible and attainable for mother and baby at all times.
Georgette was incredible! She is extraordinarily caring and gave so much love and care to our baby. She helped us with the learning curve of caring for our new baby and with maternal post partum recovery. Our baby loves her and was so excited to see her every day! On the admin side, we couldn’t have had a more flexible and easygoing doula. Flexibility with last minute schedule changes, extra hours, and the like. Georgette is an absolute pleasure to deal with and we highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of having Georgette as our postpartum doula, providing overnight care during the first six weeks of our newborn's life, and her support was invaluable. Georgette was truly a game-changer for our family, allowing us to better manage the transition from two to three children and providing us with the rest we needed. Georgette was kind, trustworthy, and knowledgeable, and her care and thoughtfulness were evident in everything she did. She was not only focused on our baby but genuinely cared about me and the challenges of post-pregnancy life, both mentally and physically. Her detailed notes and updates reassured us that our child was in loving and capable hands, and she maintained open & clear communication about our baby's progress each night. Her supportive and nurturing personality made her feel like an extension of our family. We are incredibly grateful for her support and would highly recommend Georgette to any family in need of a caring and competent postpartum doula.

I hired Georgette to help me with postpartum overnight support and it was the best decision I made! Georgette is incredibly professional, personable (you will gain a friend after your time with her), provides a calming prescence, delicate (trusted her with my newborn that only weighed 5 lbs 5oz), and a wealth of information and resources on everything related to mom's health and baby's health. She was loved by not only me, but other members of my family as well.

Georgette is so kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable. We were lucky to have her referred to us for postpartum doula services and she was such a wonderful presence in our home. She made it clear that her role was to care for the whole family and she truly did. We felt cared for from the moment she arrived at our home. She is nonjudgmental and provided us with helpful suggestions and tons of resources. I did not have a doula through my birthing, and meeting Georgette made me want to reconnect with her when we have our second child!

My husband and I appreciated Georgette's help post partum so much! It was such a privilege to have her with us in our home. She is warm, loving, knowledgeable and confident. It was so nice having an extra set of hands to help with the baby and around the house. I felt such a sense of trust and relief as I handed my tiny baby over to her. This allowed me to better take care of my 3 year old as well as myself. I can't recommend her enough! You will see what I mean when you meet her !

Georgette was amazing! She had vast knowledge of infant care from infant cues to milestones and playtime which was so helpful to learn as a new mom for me. She kept a log of everything that would take place with my baby throughout the day which was so helpful to reflect on. She provided wonderful books and resources for mom support, and for better understanding of infant care. Her presence was so calming. She just took charge of everything around the house and with my new born, which put me at ease. It allowed me to be able to get some sleep. She has excellent communication skills, so empathic and compassionate - all that a postpartum mom needs during this tough time. I couldn’t have done this without her loving support.
