We are giving birth at UCI MEDICAL CENTER. Budget is $4000. We are looking for a birthing doula to help us ensure an easy and optimized labor and delivery as well as with postpartum care while at home. Looking for someone to help minimize pain during birth, emotional support , prevent cesarean section, collaborate with nurses and doctors to optimize the admission. Lactation help making sure we are optimizing feeding.

We need immediate help to take care of the newborn at night and maybe some day shifts as well.

We would like to use our HealthNet insurance to use the services of a lactation consultant with IBCLC. My 11 day old newborn has a painful latch, and I have a low milk supply (pediatrician recommended supplementing with formula and I would like to taper the amount of formula asap) . I am currently pumping more than breastfeeding I would love to breastfeed him more and need help with that. We would primarily like to use our insurance but if not possible, we will provide with an estimated budget.

My daughter was born with a tongue tie. She had it revised on the 28th and we’ve been having more problems with her latch than prior to the revision. I’ve tried practicing her latch with my finger but she won’t hold the suction. Seems like she can only hold my nipple unless I hold my breast for the entire feed. Constantly having to burp her, so many times during a feed. Having such a hard time. Hoping to find someone that specializes in tongue ties and recovery/training of the tongue.

Hi, I am an exclusively breastfeeding mother looking for a IBCLC to help me assess some latching issues I've been having with my newborn. He is almost 3 weeks old and has been feeding well enough to be gaining weight consistently. The latch is not terribly damaging to my nipples but it's also not comfortable enough to make it through his recent growth spurt without raising some concern for me. I cannot tell if there's something I can do better to get a deeper latch or if he's just small and needs to grow a bigger mouth?? Or does he have a tongue tie? Does he need bodywork? Ideally I'd like to find someone who provides service under Medi-cal coverage with Molina Healthcare. Otherwise I have a budget of $200 for fully investigating this issue.
