Seeking a doula for a hospital birth with a $2000 budget. My birth plan includes a vaginal delivery with an epidural.

I am pregnant for the first time with a baby boy. I plan to give birth at Kaiser Permanente Roseville. I have a blood disorder that may require me to be induced. I am hoping to give birth vaginally with limited medical intervention but am open to required or necessary medical support if it is needed. I am generally scared of the birthing process and seeking a doula who can support me and my partner's wishes and birth plan and provide guidance. I hope for pre-birth consultations and post-birth if needed. Our budget is flexible.

Just curious and still deciding if I want to work with a doula

I am looking for a home birth this time around. I have 4 children under 5yrs old( 4 births - had a set of twins!) My first birth was traumatic and was an emergency c section. Followed by a successful vaginal twin birth and singleton pregnancy. I want to be in the comfort of my home where I can have support from my husband and surrounded by my children. I want to be comfortable and not strapped to a bed in a cold room. I want to feel like my birth is my experience. I also know my body and water is a powerful tool in keeping me comfortable and provides me relief when I’m in pain. Hospitals have not allowed me to use water due to a previous c section.

I plan on giving birth at the hospital. I have covered ddoula insurance through kaiser permanente. I would like to have support before baby arrives and after.

I am looking for a doula that a doula that accepts or will bill to Kaiser. Mostly, support for recovery at home with newborn care, sleep, and light house work. I plan to give birth at Kaiser Roseville, live in Cameron Park, and plan on a vaginal birth at the hospital. Budget is kaiser reimbursement.
