About me
Hello, i'm Fernanda! My journey in the world of children's care began over a decade ago in my home country of Brazil. Being born in Brazil, my deep affinity for nurturing and supporting children started at a young age. With a nurturing spirit and a genuine love for children, I started my career as a Babysitter/Nanny, honing my skills in providing a safe and loving environment for young ones. However, it was during my studies and subsequent career in nursing that my path took an extraordinary turn. My determination led me to attain an associate degree in nursing (Brazil), which opened the doors to my fulfilling role as a NICU nurse and birth assistant. It was here, in the neonatal intensive care unit, that I discovered my true passion – the care of newborns. Fueled by this newfound passion, I made the decision to venture into the world of Doula and Newborn care services along with my nurse career. Since 2016, I've been a support system for countless families, offering my expertise and care to new parents, along with support as a Babysitter/nanny for infants - I'm a Postpartum and Infant care Doula Certified (CD-PIC), CPR, AED and first aid certificated, Trustline background check registered, and Vaccines up to date- Covid-19, Flu, T-dap

Service introduction
I provide newborn care along with newborn care education for parents, breastfeeding assistance, sleep assistance, Pospartum recovery support. I'm available for Overnight and Live-in support.

My family had a great experience with Fernanda! She watched our little one from when he was 5 weeks to when he was 10 weeks old, and she did a great job of tending to his needs and taking care of him overnight. As first time parents we were nervous about leaving our baby with a stranger, but Fernanda was extremely reliable and interacted wonderfully with our son. She was extremely communicative and punctual, and she clearly has a ton of experience taking care of babies, which made us feel great about our decision!

Fernanda cared for my new baby from a couple weeks old through four months. She is excellent, professional, knowledgeable, kind, gentle and sweet with the baby. Fernanda was amazing with our newborn. We had her with our family on the first day our son was born and both for day care and night care. She was exceptionally caring and patient with our baby. She also was very proactive in making sure everything was smooth (whether the nursery, pumping, schedule, etc.) and had a wealth of newborn experience. Any family would be lucky to have her as part of their baby's first few months.
