I’m looking for a postpartum midwife to do our postpartum visits/newborn care in our home versus having to go out to offices right away after our birth. We have a low risk unmedicated birth planned at Mount Auburn and are currently being seen by a midwife there. But I am really hoping to transition to at home care for the immediate postpartum period and hold off on baby going to pediatrician office until about 6-8 weeks unless any concerns arise before then.

I am looking for a certified midwife who is willing to aid in a home birth! I haven’t thought of a budget, because I am seeing if my insurance will cover it before I move forward with thinking about payments.
