I support parents, partners, support persons and caregivers in reconnecting with themselves while navigating the journey of birth, postpartum and parenting. I also provide support after a loss, whether is was planned or unplanned. I provide holistic + traditional doula support, whether it be my own traditional practices, support with your own traditional practices, or a combination of both- I look forward to supporting you during this sacred time and nurturing you from exactly where you are. My roots originate in the Caribbean Sea, from Boriken (Puerto Rico) and my tools are rooted in ancestral wisdom, conscious parenting, and community-centered support.

Erika was my doula during labor & delivery and my postpartum doula. Truthfully I didn't think I needed a doula during delivery as I was working with two midwives that were always a part of my birth plan. My mind changed immediately after feeling contractions as a first time mom. Erika was necessary for my delivery at home. She stood close by to help with pain management with counter-pressure, kept me hydrated, kept me focused, and kept me and my son safe. My plan was to start services with Erika postpartum but I am so grateful for starting with labor and delivery. Postpartum services commenced a couple of days after delivery and continued for weeks. We navigated chest-feeding, pumping, formula, colics, depression, anxiety, food, SLEEP, everything. As a first time mom, I was very much in survival mode and Erika helped guide me and keep me and my son safe. Some visits she would even stock my fridge with nutrient dense broths/soups and snacks. Always checking on my needs and boosting my confidence in motherhood. I needed her and she followed through reliably in caring for me and my son. We felt loved and cared for during the most vulnerable moments of our lives and I would do it all over again with Erika as my doula.
