Hello! I’m looking for a postpartum doula who can be assist me at night, or day— with help taking care of my baby, light house keeping, meal prepping for a couple months after giving birth. I’ll birth either at Scripps Encinitas or La Jolla. I plan to delivery however best in a hospital, due date is 3/21 and my budget is 10-20k

First baby, planning on giving birth in hospital (Encinitas). Husband will be home with me. We both have sleep issues and it's our first baby. I'm from UK and will have no family support. I'm also a geriatric mother with previous spinal surgery and want to make sure I can get through the newborn stage. Would be a plus if you have lactation experience. I get through pain with humour and a good sense of humour is always appreciated!

I’m new to this and not entirely sure what to expect, but my goal is to labor at home as much as possible before heading to the hospital. I’d really appreciate your support at home during pre-labor, and I plan to go to the hospital once I’m around 5-6 cm dilated. I’ve also put together a birth plan and wanted to share it with you: Labor Preferences: Present during labor: Husband and doula. Room atmosphere: Music. Labor positions: Open to squatting. Pain relief: Natural methods until 5 cm, then epidural. Medical pain relief: Yes to epidural, no to Pitocin. Induction/augmentation: No to Pitocin. Fetal monitoring: Continuous. Delivery Preferences: Delivery positions: Hands and knees or squatting, no lying down. Assisted delivery: No forceps/vacuum without consent. Episiotomy: No cutting without consent. Pushing: Directed pushing is fine. C-section: Only as a last resort. Immediate After Birth: Skin-to-skin contact: Yes, uninterrupted. Umbilical cord: Delayed clamping until it turns blue. 1.) I’m a first time mother and I would like to try to give birth naturally. I’m planning on going to UCSD’s birthing center, which i like because there is a tub in the room and alternative options for pain relief other than an epidural (laughing gas, etc.). 2.)
