Service introduction

I offer full spectrum doula services starting during your pregnancy, through labor and delivery and into postpartum. During prenatal visits I will help you and your family create a birth plan that feel approachable and exciting. I will offer recourses for building the best team of providers and support people. I will also offer exercises and nutritional coaching to help prepare your body and your baby for labor. I have training in spinning babies, robozo techniques and prenatal yoga. I also have.extensive knowledge and education on naturopathic, Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine as well as training in contemplative therapies such as dance movement therapy, body talk therapy and Buddhist psychology. Additionally, I am trained in DBT, TBRI and trauma informed approaches. I have supported over 150 families through labor and am particularly passionate about supporting natural unmedicated births. Both prenatally and during labor I offer comfort techniques including massage, acupressure and aromatherapy and am skilled in position changing that will help your baby be in the optimal position for delivery. I am also passionate about helping your body prepare for labor so that there is no tearing or excessive bleeding. I believe birth is a natural process and should be treated as such with as little medical intervention as possible. With the right preparation and support during labor there is no reason for birth to be a scary or overly painful experience. Birth can be a profoundly life changing experience that is deeply vulnerable and immensely powerful. I support my families through this pivotal journey helping them achieve the birth they desire while helping them stay relaxed and informed. During the postpartum period I offer lactation support, sleep coaching, nutritional coaching, belly binding and healing practices. It is important for me to build trusting, long lasting relationships with my families. I will always work with my families to accommodate their budgets and their birth goals.

I have known Eloise since she was 9 years old. II wish I could say I utilized her as a Doula because she is an amazing being but unfortunately I can't. Eloise has a beautiful presence, both strong and calm. Her empathy and clarity and knowledge and intuitive nature are a gift in this work (and in the world). As a licensed massage therapist working with medically fragile clients for over 40 years, I wholeheartedly recommend Eloise to be a part of any birthing journey.
