Hello My name is Ellen and I am a birth and postpartum doula. I offer non-medical support to new and seasonal families before, during, and after pregnancy. I believe that everyone has the right to make their own decisions empowered by knowledge, without judgment. I am passionate about helping families to thrive during the most beautiful and challenging phase of our lives: parenthood. ​ Some fun facts about me: I was born and raised in Brazil, currently living in Hopewell Junction/NY. My husband, Miguel, is Portuguese and we met during a ski trip in Vermont. We have a beautiful daughter who is 3 years old. The sweetest girl ever! I have a stepson who is (somehow) almost 13 years old. I love CrossFit and have been practicing it for 8 years. Except during 2020 - Wonder why?! And during my pregnancy. It was rough. I am a huge fan of How I Met Your Mother and constantly use their quotes for important moments in my life. I serve Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, and some Connecticut areas.
