My path to become a doula began with my first powerful and transformative experience giving birth. I left the hospital in awe of my innate strength and what my body could do. The more I talked with others, the more I realized my empowering birth was not the norm. I am a doula because I have a deep passion for helping others feel safe, seen, and supported in their journey through birth so they can discover their strength and have a positive experience. I believe the way we are treated during pregnancy and birth matters immensely and everyone deserves support. I am here to be a guide through your unique birth journey, witness your strength, encourage you to listen to your intuition, and help inform about your options, every step of the way. Before I gave birth to my four sweet babies, I earned a bachelor’s degree in human development. I am a DONA trained doula and advanced VBAC Link certified. I am an avid reader and love to learn about all things pregnancy, birth, women’s health, and natural living. I enjoy hiking, yoga, traveling, collecting houseplants, deep one-on-one conversations, and playing games with my family. I am excited to meet you and hear part of your story!

My birth doula package includes two visits prenatally where we discuss in depth your birth preferences and how we can best work together. Also included is a three hour birth class date night with my doula partners where we go over what to do in each stage of labor and practice lots of positions and comfort measures for labor. Throughout pregnancy I provide continual phone support and can help answer questions. I am on call for birth and join you as soon as you need me. I provide emotional, mental, informational, and physical support in labor, helping you make decisions, be heard, work together with your partner, and be as comfortable as possible. After the birth, I come for one postpartum visit where I bring a meal and check in with how you are doing and help process your birth experience.
