Having grown up in Vermont, I was always around breastfeeding mothers, clean living, and being part of a village for new parents. Upon moving to North Carolina in 2015, I realized the silver lining that was missing in childcare- a cohesive option for care for the newest of babies to any age child, while providing a balance of education, nurturing, and love to the parents. I have a wide variety of experience and certifications in pregnancy, labor, birth, and early parenting. I bring passion and expertise to each and every family she serves. My interest in postpartum work was sparked when my little sister was born; I truly believed that this sweet angel was brought into this world as my baby. From this moment on, I knew she had to work with babies and families in some fashion. Essentially, Elise did not choose the doula/nanny life, the doula/nanny life chose her.
