Hello Beautiful People! My name is Edrina Gilbert & I could be your future doula! I offer childbirth education, & birth/postpartum doula services. Being able to help families along this exciting journey is something I enjoy! The services offered are meant to bring families comfort, reassurance, and help lessen the load! The thought of childbirth can be overwhelming, but no need to worry when I'm by your side!
Drina went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and prepared for the day! I was freaking out because at 41 weeks my baby still hadn't come and i was due for induction. My first baby was also induced, and because of the pitocin i begged for an epidural and ended up with a catheter, more stitches, longer recovery, lasting back pain, etc. The first induction took 21 hours. Yesterday i had my second baby via pitocin induction without an epidural! My dream come true. It was painful but she kept me in the zone. She had me laughing and oozing oxytocin and just going with the pain. It was like out of a movie. The nurses were saying that i had the kind of birth they read about in textbooks but never see up close in person. I started pitocin at 11:45am and baby was here by 3:13pm. Having Drina there was such a game changer. I would 100% recommend her and have her there at any future births as long as sheβs willing. I am eternally grateful.

My experience with Edrina was amazing. I am so grateful for her continuous support and guidance throughout my pregnancy, birth and post partum. She was always available to answer all my questions and made me feel comfortable and at ease. Her compassion and genuine care is what sets her apart.

Edrina was born to be a doula, 110% would recommend her to any pregnant person and would definitely use her services again! She got to know me, my family and my support needs right away. As this was my second pregnancy, I needed less support during the pregnancy itself but more support during delivery as it was my goal to deliver epidural free this time. She assured me that we could do it, answered all my questions, and gave me lots of tips for success before delivery. Thanks to Edrina my goal was realized! She offered constant physical support via lower back massages to counter the pain and discomfort of contractions, which was my number one ask. She also would coach me to breathe and think positive thoughts, which would calm me when I was tempted to just scream or give up. She held me down as I labored and when I was tempted to give up, she reassured me that I could do it. Amazingly in 18 minutes, I was able to push my baby out. I had the birth experience that I dreamed of thanks to Edrina. She helped me nurse during the golden hour as well. This delivery went so much better than my first and I'm forever grateful! Finally, she has checked in with me often postpartum as well, which has been so nice. More than just a doula, she is a fellow mom and friend. I feel lucky to know that I have her support still, even after labor.

I am currently pregnant with my first child and have been extremely nervous and overwhelmed with lots of emotions but one thing I can say is that Edrina has been there for me throughout the process. She is caring, informative and passionate about what she does. She has made me feel like I have someone who understands and knows what I am going through with every trimester. She is Awesome. 10βοΈ
