Donnita Parker has worked with me as my full spectrum doula through a few of my pregnancies and has always been such a great help. I am labeled as high risk and had to have C-Sections. She worked with me while I was pregnant, providing emotional support and helping me prepare mentally and physically for birth. She was present with me during the births as my doula, using comfort measures to ease anxiety and advocate for my needs. In the postpartum period after bringing my children (now ages 3 and 4) home from the hospital, Donnita was invaluable. She assisted me with newborn care, breastfeeding support, meal prep, light housework, and self-care. I suffered from postpartum mood issues, but she helped lift my spirits with counseling, compassion, and practical baby care advice tailored to my situation. Even now, years later, I still call on Donnita from time to time in her role as my motherhood coach. As questions and struggles arise, she helps guide me on my parenting journey with sage wisdom and personalized tips. I am so grateful to have had Donnita's continuous care and support through all stages of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. She has truly made this journey easier.

After having two C-sections for my first two children, I was determined to have a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) for my third baby. The path was difficult and wrought with fears about uterine rupture and other complications. That's when I turned to Donnita for her doula expertise. From the moment I hired her, Donnita put me at ease. She provided extensive education on VBAC, assuring me it could be done safely. We created a customized birth plan focused on natural induction methods, specific laboring positions to encourage progress, use of a birthing ball, managing pain through meditation and massage, and relaxation techniques if I became anxious or overwhelmed. When labor began, Donnita was available by phone helping me time contractions then later joined me at the hospital. Although medical staff were leery about my goal for a VBAC, Donnita advocated passionately on my behalf. Her calm confidence and knowledge of interventions reassured me as did her gentle guidance through each intense contraction. After 12 grueling but empowering hours, I delivered my beautiful baby girl vaginally! My VBAC success would absolutely not have happened without Donnita. Between her continuous support, wisdom, advocacy when tensions rose with hospital staff or my partner/family, and belief in me when I doubted myself, Donnita helped me achieve my dream birth. I will be forever grateful for the gift of having my VBAC.

I honestly don’t know where to start when it comes to Donnita (The Divine Mama) she has been here for me in soooo many ways over the last 2.5 years. From helping me walk into my purpose, helping me with parenting and embracing who I’m truly supposed to be!! I love her because her sole purpose is to make you better whether than means you stay with her or leave her!!! She’s truly not doing what she does for the money because if she was she wouldn’t be doing what she does cause she’s definitely not getting her money’s worth !! She’s an amazing person inside and out !! Definitely will be a blessing to your life!
