I am in need of a doula to guide myself and my husband, Shaheen, through the pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period (including breastfeeding). We are hoping you can provide us with specific, actionable ways for Shaheen to support me during pregnancy, especially during labor, and during the postpartum period. I hope to labor at home as long as possible, avoid the epidural if possible, and I really would like to avoid a C-section. I am eager to learn about natural birthing techniques and positions that work with my body and gravity. I plan to give birth in the hospital, Kaiser Walnut Creek. I want to try natural and unmedicated birth as much as possible but open to epidural. I want to refrain from c-section.

I am planning to use my insurance at Kaiser for my scans up through the third trimester, and mainly want the midwife and possible doula team for delivery.
