I've been in the medical field for over a decade working with various populations. I've assisted families with lactation for 3.5 years in a variety of settings including health department, postpartum units, and children's hospitals. I am an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with over 1000 hours of practicing, and over 100 hours of education dedicated to help parents reach their goals for feeding their babies and feeling like they're the best parents in the world. I offer initial lactation consultations either in home or virtual. Those can range from 1 hour to 90 minutes. Follow up consults are about 45 minutes to an hour depending on what is needed for that appointment. These consults are perfect for: Pain with breastfeeding Trouble latching Slow weight gain with your baby Low Milk Supply Oversupply + Recurrent clogged ducts Weaning Pumping and bottle feeding Any lactation-related issues (IBCLCs are the experts on breastfeeding and lactation!) I have worked with many babies that were in the NICU and discharged from the NICU to continue breastfeeding and/or bottle-feeding. I am more than happy to speak to you about what your needs and desires are and help you reach you are your baby's goals!
