About me
I believe that as humans we must be “Healthy & Whole” physically, mentally and emotionally. This mantra should apply to expectant mothers as well. Black mothers especially have a higher maternal mortality rate than any other race. My mission is to help close the gap on this disparity so everyone on this journey is left feeling healthy and whole. My personal journey of both pregnancy loss and carrying full term pregnancies was the catalyst that led me to become a birth doula. My Sweet Cadence Doula Services is here to empower, support and educate those who are in their pregnancy journey by creating a space so each birthing person can birth with knowledge and confidence.

Daneè is amazing. I couldn't imagine going through this journey without her. The knowledge and support she provided both my partner and I was invaluable and we'll be forever grateful. This was our first healthy pregnancy so our anxieties were understandably high. Everything, from our first session to her being alongside me in delivery, was an amazing experience. This was my first child and I felt so confident in my birth. I was prepared, I was informed of what could and couldn’t happen, i knew who I wanted in the room with, I was comfortable. She was there for my questions and encouraged me to do what I felt was best for me and my baby. She taught me how to properly breastfeed and was there when that pain was almost too much to bare. Danee showed me that she cared so much about my experience and I can tell that she truly loves what she does. She’s called to this! I tell her that she’s “Cleveland’s Doula” and I mean it! I wouldn’t have had this beautiful experience if my husband, mom-in-law, and Danee weren’t there to support me. I’m so grateful for her and want to have another baby just so she can be in the room to help me deliver! Trust me, you want Danee to be apart of this process. This beautiful process of bringing life into this world!

Daneé is the most incredible person, not just doula, to have on your birth team. I had a long, strenuous labor and she was with us in the trenches the entire time, supporting both my partner and I in ways we didn’t know we needed. She is compassionate, empathetic, and intuitive. Her calming energy and years of experience make her a strong, supportive advocate that knows exactly what to say and do at exactly the right time.
