About me

I’m Courtney Walkenhorst and I am a birth doula serving the Cincinnati area. I have been serving families for 2.5 years as a doula. I trained through DONA and certified through AWWS. I love to serve all women seeking support in doula care but I have particular soft spots for 2nd time moms seeking a different experience than their first birth, and VBAC clients! I’m a wife and mom of 3 boys. If you’re interested in my business name story, find it here: https://bit.ly/3Znr12e

Courtney was my doula for my little boy born Feb 28, 2022. Courtney was absolutely the best decision we have ever made in regards to birth, I am so thankful I got to have her at my birth and I’m so glad she was our doula. What could have seemed like a chaotic and crazy third VBA2C birth was made calm and achievable from Courtney. I am so glad she was there and she was so helpful in countless ways. She was not only a physical support with self sacrificing hip squeezes and cups of warm water down my back, but also and maybe even more importantly a calm and relaxed voice of reason, a shoulder to cry on, an encouragement when I needed it most and truly the only reason I was able to have a VBAC in a hospital setting. Any woman who chooses Courtney will be blessed by having her at their birth.
