About me

My journey as a labor doula began in 2021, driven by a deep passion for supporting families during one of life’s most transformative moments. With a strong foundation in newborn and infant care since 2015, I feel truly honored to walk alongside parents as they welcome their little ones into the world. My background includes working as a Floortime therapist for children with ASD, serving as an after-school program director, and capturing magical memories as a photographer at Disneyland. Yet, nothing compares to the profound joy of hearing a baby's heartbeat on a monitor and then witnessing their first cries as they enter the world. I am committed to continuous learning and aspire to expand my expertise as a postpartum doula and grief/death doula, ensuring I can provide compassionate care at every stage of the journey.

Service introduction

From an early age, I have been drawn to the magic of infancy. Through my experiences working with children in schools and at Disneyland, one thing became clear—my heart is most at home with babies, as close to the womb as possible! Newborns are incredible. They are constantly growing, adapting, and achieving remarkable milestones in both the womb and the early months of life. I am deeply fascinated by these developmental stages and love sharing knowledge about them. Beyond my passion for babies, I find true fulfillment in educating and supporting families. Whether it’s providing insight into childbirth, discussing newborn care, or simply offering a reassuring presence, I am honored to walk this journey with those who invite me into their birth experience. Packages
Labor Doula
Initial Interview & Contract Signing – We’ll discuss your birth preferences, expectations, and how I can best support you. 2-4 In-Person Prenatal Meetings (each lasting ~2 hours) to: Create a personalized birth preference chart and review all possible scenarios so you feel informed and empowered. Address any priorities, concerns, or fears you may have. Share evidence-based information on interventions and birth choices. Review physical movements and comfort techniques to support early labor. Provide lactation/breastfeeding guidance and discuss feeding preferences. Offer referrals to additional resources if needed. Labor & Birth Support I am on-call 24/7 starting two weeks before your estimated due date. I follow your lead on when you’d like me to join you in labor: I can meet you at home to support you through early labor or I can meet you directly at the hospital when you’re ready. Ideally, I will be notified when you reach 5 cm dilation or when contractions are 5 minutes apart. Once you are admitted to the hospital, I will remain by your side throughout labor and birth unless you request privacy. If you have hired me through the Little Company of Mary program, I have access to a space where I can provide you with blankets, pillows, snacks, juice, crunchy ice, and popsicles (based on availability). Postpartum Support After delivery, I will stay with you to assist with initial breastfeeding and ensure you are as comfortable as possible in the postpartum care unit. Final Postpartum Visit (7-10 days after birth): I will bring a home-cooked meal for the new parents. We’ll review your birth experience and milestones. I’ll check in to see if you need any additional resources or support. We can discuss staying in touch if you’d like continued guidance.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have had Courtneys help and support during my birthing journey. I did not have the birth that I planned, and having Courtney there helping me go through each step was a blessing. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, but her empathy, support, and reliability were invaluable. I will be requesting her support for all future pregnancies. She is the best.
