About me

My name is Claudia Batista Santos and I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I obtained my degree in Dietetics from Lehman College. I also have a Masters in Healthcare Administration. I work as a Breastfeeding Coordinator in a NYC WIC Program. I have completed a wide variety of ongoing provider education and advancement in caring for the breastfeeding/chestfeeding dyad and can speak Spanish fluently. I am very passionate about all things moms and babies, but education about breastfeeding/chestfeeding is my love. I’ve lived in NYC since I moved to the USA from the Dominican Republic when I was 14 years old. When I’m not helping families with lactation, you can find me traveling to different countries and discovering new flavors. I look forward to meeting you and your growing family

For expectant parents looking to establish a long-term relationship together or those needing a personalized breastfeeding class. 60 minute virtual session I will help you prepare for your breastfeeding journey by addressing your infant feeding goals, discussing normal newborn feeding behaviors/patterns, discuss how to establish a milk supply, describe nursing positions including what a proper latch looks like, answer your questions, and calm any fears about breastfeeding. This is your private breastfeeding class.

We will discuss your feeding concerns and breastfeeding goals to help solve your lactation challenges. At the conclusion of the consult, parents receive a care plan and a follow-up email in the time frame specified in the care plan.
