I am fully Covid boostered/flu vaccinated, CPR certified, breastfeeding counselor, day/overnight newborn nurse, preemies & multiples, feeding issues including feeding tubes & baby led weaning, homemade baby food, developmental play experienced. Baby laundry, bottles, tidying up & great organizer, caring, loving, kind & energetic. I am available part time, full time, short term or long term looking currently for my next family. Glowing references available upon request. I live in Durham close to Raleigh, Chapel Hill and Cary. Agreeable to flexibility with schedule and hours with immediate availability. I offer one to one care for babies including multiples from newborn up to 6 months. I have over 30 years experience maternal child and neonatal nursing and infant home care. The specialized services I offer you and your infant services include daytime or nighttime newborn care. My rate is $30/hour for all awake/daytime hours. Overnights shifts rates vary. Overnight Newborn Care Flexible available for 8 to 12 hour shifts, one to seven nights per week. To Whom it May Concern, Our family hired Christine Petras to work as our nanny in July 2021 and we would certainly recommend her work. Christine has demonstrated tremendous responsibility in taking care of our 11-month-old daughter and in keeping the house in working order. She is kind, trustworthy and always on time. While caring for our daughter, Christine performed a handful of tasks: • Prepared and served baby-led weaning meals with balanced nutrition and ensured food safety, while be trained in emergency response (CPR) • Organized fun and educational games, read storybooks that increased our daughter’s interest in story time, and planned daily, outdoor activities (weather permitted) such as walking to the local playground and park • Performed light household chores pertaining to our daughter, such as: laundry, dishes, tidying of our daughters play areas • Maintained a daily routine that our daughter looked forward to Christine has always brought a professional, well-thought-out approach when caring for our child. She is capable of isolating important obstacles in our child’s life and investigated literature for the best possible means to address those obstacles, in such a manner, that our daughter has consistently met her developmental milestones. Christine has a heart of gold and continually goes above and beyond her job description, her work ethic is untouchable, and her patience is something our family will always be grateful for. Christine has been an absolute gift to our family – she is loving, energetic and present. She is able to work in the intimate family environment with integrity and professionalism. Our family treasures Christine and deeply value her contribution to our household. It’s hard to explain how much my family loves Christine and how sad we were that it was time for our daughter to start school.
