About me

I am passionate about helping mothers, birthing parents, and non-birthing parents welcome their babies into their lives in the way they choose. I will walk beside those who choose a hospital birth, homebirth, freebirth, physiological birth, medicated birth, surrogacy, or adoption, and stay with families for any changes along the way. My interest in birthwork began after I had my daughter. I realized from my own experience there is a need for family support beyond what families are commonly offered during their childrearing years.

Service introduction

Cheyenne offers birthkeeping and doula services in western Oklahoma. If you are looking for a low intervention, physiological birth, welcoming a birthkeeper into your birth space is for you. Birthkeepers are known for holding the sacred wisdom of birthing naturally. With an understanding of the natural birth process, we can help you navigate unplanned situations, provide reassurance for the different variations of normal you may experience, and help you follow your intuition when making decisions. You will feel empowered as you give birth and care for your healthy and happy baby. As a birthkeeper and doula Cheyenne attends a variety of births; hospital, home, or birth center. I have payment plans and discounted rates for parents that qualify for Medicaid, WIC, or SNAP.

Comprehensive Birthkeeping Package
As your birthkeeper I will provide continuous care from pregnancy, through labor and birth, and up to two hours after baby's arrival. I offer unbiased support for all births including hospital birth and cesarean, unassisted, homebirth, medicated and/or unmedicated births. During the two prenatal visits I will help you and your birth partner understand the labor process for medicated or unmedicated births and discover more about your body and baby. You will learn helpful labor positions and pain management techniques, I will provide evidence based information and will advocate for informed consent. We will discuss prenatal appointments and what to expect along with child birth and breastfeeding basics. I will assist you with developing a birth plan that will work for you and baby and provide education to prepare you for the alternative paths you may encounter. During labor and birth I will help you and your birth partner apply pain management and labor techniques. I will help emotionally and empower you to follow your instincts. After birth I can help you establish breastfeeding, encourage skin to skin and ensure you are comfortable and stable before I leave the birth location. After baby is born I offer one postpartum visit. During this visit we can discuss any concerns or questions you may have and I will provide continuous breastfeeding support, as needed. All families will receive 15% off the postpartum doula package. Investment Starting at $600 to $1000
