About me

Hi, my name is Chante Shine. I am a wife, mother and cancer survivor. It was after my own two wildly different but equally amazing birth experiences I realized that I had a passion for birth. For years afterward, I helped to guide my friends through their birth journeys but after my life changing struggles in 2022 I decided, life is short and there is not a minute to waste! So, in 2023 I decided to make it official and get my Birth Doula Certification. I also went ahead and added Postpartum Doula, Breastfeeding Counselor and Childbirth Educator Certifications to my agenda! I am currently working my way through these classes, and I could not be more excited and thrilled to start working with expecting parents such as yourselves!

If you're looking g for someone to take all of the heavy lifting out of having a baby this is your gal. When I found our we were expecting - I was pretty clueless about what we were getting into. Chanté gave me whaI I called "crash courses" that were honest and empowering! When my doctor insisted on doing an induction on my due date, I called Chanté. She had all the right questions for the doctor. Who then, not only agreed to wait but also admitted that the 1 ultrasound was not a reliable method to measure amniotic fluid. I went into labor without induction five days later. This was all before Chanté was a doula! She was an amazing birth support before completing her training and certification to be a doula! Finally, on delivery day the last thing you want to worry about is having to make sure the doctors and nurses follow your birth plan. Let someone else do that - you're busy! Chanté is the perfect advocate! She absolutely will not let you be steam-rolled by the hospital! I can't reccomend Chanté enough!
