My name is Cecilia, I am a mom and a postpartum doula based in San Francisco. Originally from Sonora, Mexico, I moved to the Bay Area in 2012. I've been working with babies and families for 20 years, starting out as an infant nanny. In 2016, I dove into the world of pregnancy and childbirth through a Prenatal Yoga TT. Inspired by this, I pursued training as both a birth doula and a postpartum doula, slowly starting my doula journey while also working as a Family Assistant. As a postpartum doula, my role is to be a reliable support during the early days of your baby's life providing personalized care that fits your family’s needs. I’m here to help you feel confident and rested as you adjust to your new routine. For me, empathy and respect are at the core of my practice, I believe they are crucial for guiding new families during this transformative period of their lives. I deeply care about postpartum health (physical, mental and emotional) and is truly an honor to work with parents during this challenging yet incredibly beautiful time. In my role as a family assistant, I bring extensive experience in managing daily tasks and offering personalized attention. I understand the importance of communication, organization, and flexibility in meeting the unique needs of each family.
