Cavelle began working in our family in June 2021 taking care of our 6 day-old boy/girl twins for 8 weeks. “Taking care” is a very passive phrase to explain what Cavelle does. Cavelle and I formed a bond from the moment we met over facetime, where she offered an abundance of advise and wisdom in preparing for the twin’s arrival months before they came. I was a first time mom with zero knowledge and Cavelle has taught me absolutely everything about newborn childcare in way that is carefully and specifically tailored to the needs not only of each of my twins but also for me, and our family. Cavelle created a scheduled routine for the twins that was mindful of their growth and development as well as one that was practical for our lives in such a way that we thrived as a new family of four. Because of the way Cavelle structured and implemented our bedtime routine, our newborn twins were able to sleep in 8 hour stretches in the night by 6 weeks. I cannot emphasize enough how Cavelle’s care for the twins allowed for them to thrive and develop in their early weeks. To demonstrate Cavelle’s wealth of knowledge and expertise, when we faced medical issues or questions, our pediatrician always echoed Cavelle’s first given advice and plan of care. Thanks to Cavelle’s incredible work ethic and multi-tasking style, my husband and I were able to not only get sleep at night and be fully functioning during the day (which is unheard of for newborn parents) but also easily enjoy the luxury of one-on-one time out of the house because we knew that the twins were under the best care with no interruption in their routine. Cavelle provided guidance at every aspect of the newborn journey from breastfeeding, pumping, and breast care, to accompanying trips to the pediatrician, to soothing techniques and differentiating each type of cry for each baby. As a first time mom, Cavelle fostered confidence in me by giving me the tools required in understanding each of my twins’ individual needs and how to properly tend to them. Cavelle goes above and beyond just newborn care by putting her heart and soul into the inceptive upbringing of babies by instilling her love and exceptional expertise. It is the absolute best decision in having Cavelle join our family as a baby nurse for our twins. If you are considering Cavelle as a baby nurse, you cannot find a better person and will be fortunate to experience the hand of Cavelle in your child’s early days.

Cavelle helped us with our 3 month old and was very helpful in establishing routines that fit our baby. She likes to say that she supports routine and structure and consistency,  but that one size doesn’t fit all. “Free Range Babies” she coined it! She would take the baby for long walks everyday, lots of fresh air, would roll around with her on the floor (she’s very good at fun voices!) Cavelle brought some great New York City spice to LA. Every time she’d get the baby in her stroller for a walk, she’d say “this is how we roll in NYC!”  And the baby now looks forward to her walks with Cavelle more than anything. She was helpful in troubleshooting things happening with our baby, like switching formula brands which helped reduce her spit up. She recommended products to help simplify our lives, and she was especially good at talking me down off the ledge when I would get a little wound up about something (new mom!). Overall, Cavelle was wonderful and I’d be happy to recommend her to anyone with a new baby!

In February 2021 we hired Cavelle to help care for our newborn daughter. Cavelle stayed with us around the clock since the moment we brought our baby home from the hospital for a total of three weeks. To be honest, it is impossible to imagine having to survive these very important three weeks without her. As first time parents, she taught us everything from feeding, burping, changing, bathing and creating consistent routines for our little one. She stayed up tirelessly every night so that we could get some sleep and worked hard during the days helping with everything baby related. It’s so hard to trust anyone with your newborn child, let alone a complete stranger, but Cavelle made it so easy. We were able to leave the house when needed knowing she was in the best hands. I strongly recommend Cavelle for any parents, first time or not, who need a little (or a lot) of help with their little one. Cavelle is so incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, energetic and makes the newborn journey that much easier. She truly cared for our baby like her own, and went above and beyond to make sure we understood all of the babies’ behaviors and didn’t just react to them. She is a patient teacher and compassionate caregiver. We are happy to recommend her as a truly special NCS!

Cavelle has been the baby nurse for our first child, Max, for the past month and a half, and she is incredibly dedicated to her profession and to the families she assists. She possesses a wealth of knowledge of how to take care of newborn children and what to expect as they grow older, week by week. She guided us through this first phase of Max’s life with expertise and confidence, providing a framework for being new parents. Whenever I had a question about what to do or what to expect, I had no hesitation in asking Cavelle, and I trust her opinion 100%. She helped us to overcome several hurdles with feeding and to establish a daytime routine that will help Max sleep through the night as he gets a bit older. Cavelle also showed us what kind of playtime Max would like best - and benefit most from - for his first days through his first months, and we are having a blast playing together and helping him develop. I’ve always heard that having a new baby can be hectic and full of uncertainty, but I am thrilled to say that our experience has been one of excitement, happiness, and confidence, in large part due to Cavelle. I strongly recommend working with Cavelle to any new parents.
